  1. ADAMI93.ZIP     Tamil word processer / vga video titler
  2.  
  3. Uses an easy to remember transliteration scheme. A simple public domain
  4. editor is included. Includes a font editor for modifying existing
  5. fonts.
  6.  
  7. Character size can be varied from 1/72 of an inch to 63/72 of an inch
  8. in 1/72 inch increments. Characters can be underlined, slanted,
  9. emphasized and background reversed.
  10.  
  11. Character color and background color can be chosen from 16 different
  12. colors on EGA, VGA screens. On certain color dot matrix printers, they
  13. can be printed in color.
  14.  
  15. Video tape titling and scrolling in Tamil is possible using VGA cards
  16. with NTSC/SVHS signal outputs.
  17.  
  18. Paragraphs can be filled, right justified, centered. Tabs, left, right,
  19. top and bottom margins, line spacing, character spacing, page
  20. numbering, etc. can be set.
  21.  
  22. Any portion of text can be enclosed in boxes with rounded corners.
  23. Border lines of different types can be generated.
  24.  
  25. Suffix numbers 2, 3 and 4 are included, to permit printing of
  26. all Sanskrit consonents in Tamil script.

  28. The complete package fits in 360K bytes. No additional software is
  29. required. The package is shareware requiring a registration fee of $40,
  30. for non-commercial usage. Commercial usage requires profit sharing.
  31. Non-profit magazines, cultural, literary, religious organizations and
  32. individuals who can not afford it, may register free of charge.

  40. Note: This software will work in all IBM true compatibles. It works in
  41. $2000 MSDOS monochrome emulation mode of SUN SPARC 3 at about the same speed
  42. as in a $300 XT clone. My recommendation is a 80286 system with a Super VGA
  43. graphic card and multisync color display, total cost around $999 and HP laser
  44. printer about $400. If you have a postscript printer, you should set it
  45. (switch position 8/6 in QMS) to emulate HP Laser.

  318. to be made, to reproduce using ADAMI. This can be done using global
